Reviews & reputation

More reviews from happy patients, a fast answer to unhappy ones. Reviews decide which practice a new patient calls. We ask satisfied patients for them at the right moment, watch every platform for new ones, and draft compliant responses to the negative ones quickly — without ever confirming that someone is a patient.

01How we run it

How VisMed runs reviews.

Reviewed by the VisMed practice growth team

We treat reviews as the deciding factor in which practice a new patient calls, because for most searches they are. Two practices with the same specialty and location are separated by a star rating and the last three reviews. Practices that leave this to chance get reviews only from the angriest patients.

So we ask satisfied patients at the right moment, usually shortly after a visit, through your system, in a way that makes leaving a review easy. We watch every platform for new reviews and draft responses quickly: thanks for the positive ones, and for negative ones, a calm, compliant reply that never confirms the person is a patient and moves the conversation offline.

A negative review answered well within a day does more for a practice’s reputation than five unanswered positive ones.

03Questions

Reviews & reputation, asked and answered.

What a practice asks about this service on the first call.

How does VisMed ask patients for reviews?

VisMed sends a short, timely request after the visit through your practice’s messaging, with a direct link to the review platform. Patients who indicate a poor experience are routed to your office first rather than to a public page.

Can VisMed respond to negative reviews for us?

VisMed drafts the response within one business day and sends it for your approval unless you have delegated routine replies. Every response is HIPAA-safe: it never confirms the reviewer is a patient or discusses care.

Can VisMed remove negative reviews?

Only when they violate a platform’s policies, in which case VisMed files the removal request. Legitimate negative reviews cannot be removed; the effective response is a good reply and a steady flow of genuine positive reviews.
